My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with the owner of the business where I work - they share the same anniversary date as us, so were celebrated together at Moondance Grill. Madeline was our server and she was excellent. We enjoyed our cocktails (almost as good as Joshua's) and the food was delicious, prepared excellently and brought out with great timing. The ambience at Moondance Grill is always lively, in large part to the live music played in the bar. Sometimes it can get loud in the bar, but it's never obnoxiously loud. Madeline was so kind as to give both of us couples a congratulatory anniversary card (handwritten and signed by the staff) and also a birthday card for my wife (her birthday was the next day). Both cards were handwritten just for us, including details that were unique to each of us. A very classy touch! Moondance really has the customer service part of dining down to an art - a rare thing in Memphis. Thank you Moondance Grill, for a very enjoyable evening! See you next time!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Moondance in Germantown, Tennessee, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Despite having been there only once before, about a year ago, I was filled with anticipation as I entered the restaurant. My friend and I decided to sit at the bar, where we were greeted by a friendly bartender who took our orders promptly. To start, I opted for the barbecue shrimp, while my friend chose the kale and cranberry salad. I also couldn't resist trying the she crab soup, and we both ordered the maple bourbon glazed salmon. Although the service at the bar was a bit slow initially, with only one person tending to the entire area, the bartender's friendliness made up for it. The timing of the food delivery was a bit interesting, as my barbecue shrimp arrived first, followed by a wait for the salad and soup. We expected everything to come out together, but it wasn't a major issue. Moving on to our entrées, both of us ordered the maple bourbon glazed salmon. I requested mine to be cooked medium, while my friend opted for well-done. However, both dishes came out as medium, resulting in my friend having to request a re-cook. Nevertheless, the staff handled the situation promptly and professionally. To accompany our meal, I enjoyed a glass of Pinot Noir, which paired perfectly with the flavors of the salmon. And to top it all off, I couldn't resist trying the frozen espresso martini, which turned out to be a delightful and delicious choice. It was strong and satisfying, and I would highly recommend it to any coffee and cocktail lover. One of the aspects I appreciate about Moondance is its casual environment. It provides a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for any occasion. The menu offers a great variety of options, ensuring there's something for everyone's taste. Overall, I had a positive dining experience at Moondance and would definitely recommend it to others.

Ny bestie and I grabbed lunch here during my last visit and it was great. There's valet parking and the staff was very friendly. Of course, I got a mimosa and instantly appreciated that the cup wasn't full of ice. I ordered the crab benedict and it was delish. Very light and fresh tasting. The place has a laid back ambiance and dim lighting, surely a good date night spot as well!

Moondance grill is a nice upscale restaurant with a dress code. We came for lunch before heading to the airport, I was so glad it wasn't a problem. This restaurant was awesome. From the wait staff, cocktails, food, dessert and the rest room was immaculate. We were a party of 8 and our waiter was he was on point with everything and knew the menu and made great recommendations. I started with a smoked old fashion cocktail and the presentation was awesome. I kept staring at the drink, the waiter had to tell me to take the drink. The drink had a touch of sweetness to it that gave it an extra punch. Then I ordered the she crab soup, it was a nice creamy broth with pieces of crabs really tasty. The seafood Po boy sandwich was different I never had fried Oysters in my sandwich and that combination with the shrimp made the sandwich exceptional. I didnt have dessert but my cousin ordered the brownie and ice cream to go. It looked really good and they were happy with it so they ordered 2 of them. This restaurant is really worth the visit. Everyone in my group enjoyed their cocktail and entree. I will definitely be back.

Date night: Birthday Edition part 2! I made reservations for 730p on my birthday, which fell on a Sunday. This was our first visit to Moondance and I was excited to try them out. When we arrived, we were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was very attentive and didn't take long to take our order. We shared the fried oysters as an appetizer. They were really good. My picky husband really enjoyed them. For our meals, we both ordered the lamb chops which were served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The lamb chops were very good, cooked just right! The sides were alright, nothing that stood out. Since it was my birthday, they served us a complimentary dessert, which was pretty good. The ambiance was perfect and even though it was storming out, my experience was very nice. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and I had a nice birthday.

My husband and I went to moondance grill to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant had ample parking and an option to valet park. The ambience of the restaurant reminds me of Seasons 52 meets Flemings. We had a very short wait before being seated near the kitchen. I like the open kitchen style, and the incredibly quick service. We also had a wonderful waiter, who checked on us frequently, and also brought out a little complementary champagne to commemorate our anniversary. For appetizers, we both shared a spinach dip, which was delicious! For drinks, we had a specialty old-fashioned, which was smoked. It was pretty good, but I will try a sweeter drink next time. My husband had the rotisserie chicken and I had the lamb lollipops. The taste was good overall, but we both added a little more seasoning. The portions of the food were also reasonable for the price. Overall, I was satisfied with the ambience and service. I will be back, but I will probably try something different next time.
